The frame of an old rocking chair is modified with water tanks (up) and a reservoir (down). The bottom reservoir has a water pump that is activated by a timer. At set times the water moves up in order to create a shift in balance. The water circulation creates a movement. The full cycle takes about 12 minutes, partly with the sound of flowing water.
